  I've been going to the Tributary for about a decade, maybe once or twice a year. I love the salad bar and their prime rib. Me and my wife had a craving for some great prime rib last night. Without a reservation we got a small table for two right next to a party of 8. We ordered our prime rib and a couple drinks. The drinks were poorly made and had to send one back due to being too strong (never thought I would complain about that!) but it was pretty much straight vodka. Ordered our prime rib medium and medium well. We get our salad bar and some soup. I order my second drink. We are so close to the party of 8 next to us we are pretty much included with their conversations. They order the prime rib also based on our recommendations. Our food comes and the server spills the AuJus sauce on my sweater and lap because the plate is completely full of sauce. I keep my cool and then I notice my steak is rare and my wives is totally well done, there is no pink and hard to cut. There is also no AuJus sauce at all on her plate! The server turns around and walks away. Our jaws drop! We cannot believe what we just witnessed. We call the server back and refuse the overcooked steak. He comes back a few minutes later and offers a rib eye because the prime rib is out. Now my wife is getting a little upset and she looses her appitite and doesn't want a meal at all and wants to leave. We ask for the check and the server offers us dessert! HA, I still never got my second drink and my wife didn't eat!! No manager came over to make things right. What a horrible experience, we won't be back

  Excellent food and service. The Filet Mignon is the best I've had anywhere! Period! And you'd be hard pressed to find a better salad bar anywhere else. Their potato salad at the salad bar is amazing. This has quickly become our favorite restaurant!
